Membership & Meetings
The membership of LAA shall be composed of artists and others interested in promoting the LAA purposes. Members must be18 years of age or older, have paid their dues and have attended a minimum of two monthly meetings during the previous 12 months.
Membership entitles members to the following:
- to participate in LAA sponsored art classes and workshops at a discounted rate
- to exhibit their art work at LAA sponsored exhibits or shows (according to the LAA exhibit/show guidelines)
- to vote, as provided by the bylaws, within the LAA organization
We meet monthly between September and May to fellowship with other artists and to learn from guest demonstrators. We put on shows each year at the Leesburg Center for the Arts as well as show continuously at various venues throughout Lake County. We sponsor several workshops each year, which are open to members and guests alike.

Informal “Social Time” begins at 12:30 PM, before the meeting.

Our newsletter is usually completed within a few days of the monthly Board meeting and is emailed to all our members.
