Greetings to All!
Even without a meeting, April was a fun LAA month! All of us who went on the bus trip had a wonderful time and we especially enjoyed “meeting” Agatha Christie, skillfully portrayed by Nan Colton. Congratulations and many thanks to Isabel Kosberg for her efforts in planning an excellent day and making it a reality.
As we prepare for the long, hot summer, remember that the Leesburg Center for the Arts has opportunities for us to help with the children’s classes during July. These classes are only one week long. I have participated in past years and it is really fun. Please call the Center 352-365-0232 or check their website www.leesburgcenter4arts.com.
I know that many of our members have headed North and we wish you a pleasant summer. Those who remain will be happy to know that we have a really interesting program for our last meeting of this season. Bonnie Jones (Tom’s wife) will demonstrate her process of batik.
